Oh Monday

February 3, 2014

Hope everyone enjoyed their weekend and the horrific event called Superbowl! Who wants to see a blowout? Nobody!!!! Even if you are a Seahawks fan, I'd assume that you'd at least like to see a good game right? Ugh!!! It was almost like a really really bad joke!

(Obviously this is in good fun since they were good enough to get to the Superbowl)

But moving on...

Today I have a job interview. I haven't had one in forever!!!! I haven't had a ''conventional job" in like 8 years. Being a full time mom is my job.. I run back and forth to the school 3 times a day, I work in class 2 times a week, we run the kids back and forth to sports & activities... But now it's time for me to work a regular job again... I am a little bit apprehensive about this one because the actual company does not have good ratings on Yelp and I do NOT feel good about it. I don't want to work for a company that is known to be greedy and unfriendly to the public... Tbone had a great bit of knowledge for me though... "Go to the interview, what is the worst that happens? You don't get the job? or You get the job and you don't accept it. He also made this great point, "You could be the change that the company needs". Hmmm, I hadn't thought of that. So I have a lot to think about today. Wish me luck!!!!

In the meantime, I thought I'd share this new Brantley Gilbert song with ya'll. I can't stop listening to it! It's ah-mazeballs!!!!!

  1. Good luck at your interview! I agree with him completely. The worst thing that happens is you get some interviewing experience and maybe realize what kinds of companies you DO NOT want to work for. Everything is a learning experience!
