Can I just say that I did pilates last night and my body hurts me!  Thanks Cassey from blogilates! I hope I wake up tomorrow and look like you! Anyway, it's time for another Sunday Social... 

1. What is your best summer memory as a kid?

I have so many great memories from being a kid... Maybe our trips to Lake Mead? Even though one trip my dad got bit by something and his hand swelled up the size of a baseball glove so we had to take him to an ER in the middle of the desert where they told him that the skin would turn black and fall off... It did, and it did... Gross! 

2. What is your favorite summer drink?

Before I gave up alcohol, I'd say it would have to have been a Lava Flow. Now I love lemonade (only really tart) or black iced tea. 

3. What is your favorite summer TV show?

Hmmm I don't know... What comes on during Summer time? 

4. What is the best outdoor summer activity?

I love camping, being outside in the water. So anything that requires me sitting in the sun with cool water lapping over my feet. 

5. What are your summer vacation essentials?

Floppy hat, flip flops, skirts, tank tops, books, magazines, my Starbucks cup and sunscreen.

1. What was your favorite TGIF show? Perfect Strangers hands down!!!! I freaking loved that show so much!!!! Balki Bartokomous was hilarious!

2. What was your favorite Saturday morning TV show? Jem and Kids Incorporated!!! I even had a special outfit that I'd wear... with fingerless gloves. 

3. Mickey Mouse Club or Kids Incorporated.? Kids Incorporated all the way, in case you didn't get that from number 2. 

4. Zack Morris or AC Slater? I guess if I had to choose, I'd choose Zack... I was more in to Edward Furlong back then though. 

5. Which show would you love to see remade? (For example, Boy Meets World is back as Girl Meets World)

I don't think that remakes really can do the original justice. So I think we should let them be.

Sunday Social

1. What was your best birthday? Hmmm best birthday was Maui 2001? My friend Anna and I went to stay with my cousin for a week in Lahaina... Luckily my birthday is right next to Halloween so we spent Halloween in Lahaina... Partayyyyy!!! 

2. What was your best vacation? I have been lucky to go on a lot of fun vacations. My parents used to drive us to Colorado every summer, we'd take the boat to Lake Mead or the Colorado River... They also took us to Cabo one summer... Kaui another... Very lucky!!! I think my favorite vacations were always spent at the river though... I love to sit my happy ass in the sand with my feet in the water while I soak up the sun. Oh wait, I change my mind... Maui in 2012 for my little brother's wedding. That was so much fun to be in Maui with all of the special people in my life. 

3. Best date you’ve ever been on? I was not a big dater... I hung out and went out with big groups but I have been in a relationship from the time I was 18 to pretty much the time I was 32. Then I spent a year alone and met Tbone. We did go on a group date with our friends and brew hopped... That was so fun!!!

4. Best Movie(quality) you’ve seen? Not sure I understand this question... Quality? Like how well them movie was made? Hmmm,  I have no idea... but I can say that my favorite two movies are Tombstone and The Neverending Story. #iwantfalcor #samelliotthasthebestmustacheever

5. Best TV show ending of all time? I haven't really watched a whole lot of series all the way through. I thought Dexter ended pretty well... Not earth shattering though. I cried when Friends and Fresh Prince were over. I am usually more upset because the shows I like end up getting cancelled. 

A Twitterable Sunday Social

Happy Sunday!!! Hope you are all able to enjoy sunshine like I am today!!!! It's beautiful!  and now for Sunday's Social...

1. When did you first join Twitter?  March 2009 2. Who is your favorite non-celeb to follow? Hmmm, I am pretty horrible at Twitter... I am still trying to figure the thing out. So I don't really know.  3. Who is your favorite celeb to follow? @blakeshelton is hilarious!!!! @alliemackay is a la news reporter and she's pretty funny. Oh and @grumpycat!!!! 

4. Have you ever had a celeb respond to a Tweet? Not that I am aware of. Probably would help if I actually used Twitter.  5. What is your favorite store/brand to follow?  Again, I have no idea... I suck at this whole Twitter thing, sorry!!!  Hopefully next week I'll have something better for ya!  In the meantime, I am off to make an attempt at meal planning for the week, planting more flowers, painting more pots, finish my California canvas project, wait for to see if Nascar is going to have a rain delay and finish my book... Good morning everyone and happy Sunday!!!! 

1. What is your ideal way to relax? 

The way I relax is completely up to the mood I am in. Sometimes I am totally fine with sitting on the couch and reading a book, binge watching tv, or taking a nap.. Sometimes I need the sun on my face. I guess if I had to choose one, I'd be relaxing on the boat at the river... Sun in my face, sound of the water slapping the side of the boat, and fresh air hitting my skin. 

2. Where is your favorite place to be?

This is either the river or in Maui... Both are my happy place!

3. Who do you consider your biggest role model?

I don't have one person that is my role model... I take bits and pieces of people and compile them in to one big goal. If I had to choose just one... It would be my dad!!! He had done and accomplished so much in his life.

4. What does your life look like in 3 years?

Hopefully comfortable!!! Tbone, the kiddos and the furries. 

5. If you could go back and change one decision, what would it be?

I would say marrying the kids dad but then I wouldn't have my two babies!!! So I can't really say that. Living with my old roommate... That was the worst!!!! Oh god! Horrible!

6. What is your biggest accomplishment in life thus far?

My kids!!! I know some may not see it as an accomplishment but I love those monsters more than anything and they are great, amazing, good people!!!

Sunday Social

How has everyone's weekend been? We have had the most beautiful weather and I have enjoyed it... While we were at Tbone's parent's house today watering for them while they are gone, I literally took a catnap in the backyard. The sun felt so good on my face!!!!

Then we came home and worked on some things around the house that needed to be done. Hunter helped me with some Spring crafties that I have been working on, and then we watched Dallas Buyers Club. Wow, what a powerful movie!!! I had no idea what it was about other than Matthew Hottiepants and Jared Leto were in it. I am so glad I watched it. It was amazing!

1. How much time do you spend on Social Media a day?...be honest
I used to spend a lot... like a lot a lot of time on social media... Now I really only check my IG (which you can add here) and the blogs that I follow. Blogs do take up a bit of my morning but that's my quiet time after the kids go to school. 

2. How long were you reading blogs before you started a blog?
I really didn't read many blogs before starting in the beginning. I read the Pioneer Woman religiously, and a few dog blogs, but that was it. 

3. What is your favorite kind of cupcake?
Yummy Cupcakes in Burbank makes cupcakes in a jar. I love the keylime, and the coconut the best! My dear BFF occasionally sends them to me and I hide in the pantry and eat them in the dark... all by myself. Do NOT judge me! 

4. Do you eat fast food? If so what's your favorite?
I do like fast food but rarely eat it anymore. I love this place called Miguel Jrs! They have the best chicken tacos! Of course I will eat In N Out any chance I get. 

5. What is the most random thing someone would find in your purse?
Either one of Boogie's socks that has been in there for a while (I have no idea why), or one of Beaks' toy monster truck. 

6. What is the weirdest TV show you watch?
Weirdest? Hmmm, I don't know. If they were that weird, it probably wouldn't be popular enough the stay on tv. I guess any ER show. I love Untold Stories of the ER!!!! There was an episode where this homeless woman had pet earthworms and she dug holes in her arms and slide them inside... How crazy is that? You can't make that kind of sh*t up. 

Okay, we are off for our Sunday morning walkie with the puppers before it gets too hot so enjoy what's left of your weekend!!!!

Happy Sunday ya'll!!! I know I'm not Southern but I kinda wish I was! Hope everyone is having a nice weekend! We've had perfect weather. Sunny and about 75 degrees... Just beautiful!!! Tbone and I got up and took the pups for a two mile trail walk. Gorgeous!!!!
